Oceanic-Continental Convergence
When continental plates collide with oceanic plates, the oceanic plates always go underneath.Where it went underneath is a subduction zone. As it is going down it causes friction and the rocks melt. This creates magma and at the top the crust it creates a volcano. As it goes under it creates a trench, and that is how the mariana trench was made. Always near where the plates collided there is a volcano.
Oceanic-Oceanic Convergence
When a oceanic and a oceanic plate collide the more elderly one goes and sinks into the earths mantle. Then the younger creates newv crust on the earth that is why every time we step we dont wear out the earth and magma rises to create more volcanos.Just like ocean-contenetal convergence it makes deep sea trenches and can create islands. In the islands of Japan and Japan trench was farmed by oceanic plates colliding.
Continental-Continental Convergence
When two continental plates collide it crumbles up and they create eartquakes and insted of forming volcanoes it creates mountains and can range from the himalayan mountains and mount everest! amazing!.Around are area is actualy common for eartquakes even though a earthquake hasent happened here in more than 300 years. When two continental plates collid there is no subduction which there is no friction to create magma.
